Love One Another

“To love him with all the heart,
and with all the understanding,
and with all the strength,
and to love one's neighbor as oneself,
is much more than
all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
Mark 12:33

Love Him with all the Heart
A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh ( Ezekiel 36:26). By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (1 John 3:16).

With All Understanding
Let us not love in word or speech but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:18). If any one has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? (1 John 3:17)

You shall not go up and down as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand forth against the life of your neighbor: I am the LORD. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason with your neighbor, lest you bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:16-18)

Any one who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him (1 John 3:15).

With All Strength

Do not wonder, brethren, that the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death (1 John 3:13-14).

Offering to God
We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing (2 Thessalonian 1:3).
